Groundbreaking Ceremony

On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 3:00 PM, the City of Bentonville, in collaboration with C.R. Crawford Construction and Hight Jackson Architects, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Bentonville Animal Services & Adoption Center.

This facility will offer community members opportunities to volunteer their time to support pets in need while acquiring valuable knowledge about responsible pet ownership.

In response to significant community feedback and numerous requests, Mayor Stephanie Orman requested a partnership between Bentonville Police and Bentonville Parks and Recreation to establish a progressive Animal Services Department.

Director Ali Worley noted, "This adoption center brings Bentonville in line with other municipalities in our region that have successfully managed city-owned facilities for years."
